The 1290 Infinity II Multisampler is manufactured by Agilent Technologies. The Multisampler is a compact autosampler that doses at pressures up to 1300 bar and can hold up to 6144 samples, all within the footprint of a liquid chromatography stack.

• The two-needle injection channel can be optimized independently to increase the injection flexibility
• The shallow microplate drawer has a maximum loading capacity of 16 microplates and can hold up to 6144 samples, with an unmatched sample capacity
• The sample drawer has three heights, can accommodate any sample container combination, with the highest flexibility
• Dual needle setting can shorten the injection cycle to a few seconds, almost eliminating the traditional waiting time
• The robotic arm moves the microplate and other sample containers from the sample rack to the central work area, enabling perfect automation during sample processing steps and sample introduction
• The multiple cleaning function flushes the outer surface of the syringe with three solvents and uses a needle backflush procedure to reduce the residue to below 9 ppm
• Indicator lights on each drawer indicate loading status, current activity, and accessibility of instant information
