96 Well Semi-Skirted PCR Plate, Roche Style manufactured by Azenta Life Sciences is molded from virgin polypropylene and subject to a strict QC procedure which includes a visual check and leak testing of every tube. The wells of this low profile plate are shorter than those of standard profile plate (4ti-1000), reducing the "dead space" between the sample and the heated lid of the thermal cycler, which eliminates condensation on the side wall of the tube, preventing reduction in PCR volume and increasing the efficiency of the reaction. White wells give optimum signal-to-noise ratio when using fluorescent-based assays.
