The Evolut R transcatheter aortic heart valve can be re-fixed and repositioned. Its self-expanding nickel-titanium alloy frame increases the capacity to conform and seal natural rings. The leaflet position above the annulus keeps the working part of the valve above and is not constrained by the natural annulus.
