Description

INGENIO is the most advanced pacemaker, and lets the heart take the lead and intervene only when appropriate. INGENIO includes RightRate ™ with the MV sensor, the only sensors clinically certified to restore time-varying capabilities. Other features include RYTHMIQ ™ and AV Search + (to reduce unnecessary RV pacing) and respiratory frequency trends (for monitoring breathing). INGENIO has enabled Remote Patient Management (RPM) and includes wireless telemetry.

Features

Rate adaptive pacing
INGENIO and ADVANTIO pacemakers offer RightRate, which combines our existing MV sensors and enhanced programming capabilities. RightRate combines programming improvements such as automatic sensor calibration, simplified user interface, and sensor playback to make patient optimization easier.
Management of unnecessary RV pacing
INGENIO and ADVANTIO provide options for managing RV pacing in patients with varying degrees of blockade. INGENIO has RYTHMIQ, which is designed to minimize unnecessary pacing without causing clinically significant pauses. RYTHMIQ operates in atrial pacing mode during normal conduction and switches to dual-chamber mode when conduction block is detected. Both INGENIO and ADVANTIO include AV Search +, and the software is also designed to reduce unnecessary RV pacing by extending AV latency.
Respiratory rate trend
Breathing is an important vital sign. Boston Scientific now offers the ability to track in the device. INGENIO has a breathing frequency trend that helps you monitor your patients. Respiratory frequency trends use transthoracic impedance signals to measure breathing and track daily maximum, median, and minimum breathing rates.
Enable radio frequency
Boston Scientific knows that efficiency is critical to your practice, so INGENIO and ADVANTIO are designed to be easier for you and your employees to use. Both have wireless telemetry capabilities to speed implantation and simplify subsequent operations. They also offer greater ease of use through Boston Scientific's common user interface.
