Corkscrew® FT Anchor (CAT#: AM-MP-0030-LC)

The full-thread Corkscrew suture anchor series is designed for maximum fixing strength and simple insertion. These implants can be made from various materials, such as titanium, PLLA, PEEK, and biocomposite. The combination of internal drive mechanism and a unique FiberWire® suture eyelet allows for continuous thread over the whole length of the anchor. This design enables the anchor to be inserted flush with the surface of the cortical bone, offering outstanding fixation strength and stability, while preventing the anchor from pulling backwards, which may occur in traditional anchors with protruding eyelets. The internal drive configuration permits high insertion torque and the suture eyelet self-aligns, eliminating the need for specific eyelet orientations at the edges of the tissue. Anchors can be double or triple loaded with FiberWire sutures or SutureTape to provide the best combination for higher repair strength.
