Integra® Dermal Regeneration Template (CAT#: AM-MP-0050-LC)

Integra® Skin Regeneration Template consists of two layers. The outer layer is composed of a thin silicone film that is used as the epidermis of the skin. It prevents wounds from being infected and avoids the loss of heat and moisture. The inner layer is composed of a complex matrix of crosslinked fibers. This porous material is used as a scaffold facilitating regeneration of functional dermal layer. After the dermal skin is regenerated, the outer layer can be removed and replaced with a thin epidermal skin graft.
