BAERVELDT® Glaucoma Implants (CAT#: AM-MP-0057-LC)

Highlights

Large plate implants, such as BAERVELDT® implants, help aqueous flow out in order to help offer IOP control.
BAERVELDT® implants just need single-quadrant insertion, providing better control of IOP than competing implants.
The patented bleb control mechanism of the BAERVELDT® implant enables fibrotic tissue to grow through fenestrations in the plate, thereby controlling the height and volume of the bleb.

Description

The minimally invasive BAERVELDT® Glaucoma Implant is designed to provide pressure control. Its fenestration system is used to control the height and volume of bleb, while a patented larger surface area promotes intraocular pressure control. When traditional glaucoma therapies are not able to help the increasing intraocular pressure, you can use BAERVELDT® glaucoma implants to control.
