Amplicon Sequencing (CAT#: STEM-MB-0047-WXH)

Introduction

Amplicon sequencing is the sequencing of PCR products or captured fragments of a specific length. 16S/18S/ITS and other amplicon sequencing is to extract the DNA of environmental samples, select appropriate universal primers to amplify the target region of 16S/18S/ITS, and detect the sequence variation and abundance of the target region, to study environmental microbial diversity and community composition differences. 16S/18S rDNA is the DNA sequence encoding proto/eukaryotic ribosomal small subunit rRNA. ITS is divided into two regions: ITS1 is located between 18S and 5.8S in the eukaryotic DNA sequence, and ITS2 is located between 5.8S and 28S.

Applications

• Cancer gene sequencing
• Disease screening
• Plant and animal sequencing
• Study environmental microbial diversity and community composition differences

Procedure

1. Selection of research objects
2. Genomic DNA extraction
3. Construction of PCR-free library
4. Sequencing
5. Information analysis and analysis content
