Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC) is an important method to study biothermodynamics and biokinetics. It can continuously and accurately monitor and record the calorimetry curve of a changing process by a highly sensitive and automatic microcalorimetry meter. It also provides thermodynamic and kinetic information. ITC can be used to measure the thermodynamic parameters of biomolecular interactions, including affinity (KA), enthalpy (ΔH), entropy (ΔS), and stoichiometry (n). The binding characteristics of ferulic acid (FA) with bovine serum albumin (BSA) can be investigated using isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) techniques.
