Analysis of BIM/Bcl2-L-11 (Human) by MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer (CAT#: STEM-MB-0059-LGZ)

Introduction

BIM gene (also known as BCL2L11 gene) encoded products belong to the BCL-2 protein family members, is one of the most active pro-apoptotic proteins. Bcl-2 family members can form homologous or heterodimers involved in regulating and promoting apoptosis, all containing bcl-2 homologous domain 3 (BH3). Some members of BCL-2, BCL-XL and MCL1 are anti-apoptotic, while others are pro-apoptotic.

Principle

MSD electrochemiluminescence technology is mainly based on ultra-sensitive multi-factor electrochemiluminescence analyzer MES0 Sector600 or Quickplex SQ120. Through dot matrix technology, the detection of 10 indicators per well can be realized in the 96-hole graphite electrode plate. It can also be customized to realize the screening detection of 100 index wells in a 24-well plate.

Applications

Intracellular Signaling

Procedure

1. Coat the capture antibody on the well plate.
2. Add samples/calibrators.
3. Add detection antibody.
4. Read the plate and analyze the data.

Materials

• Sample Type: Serum, Plasma
