Analysis of Ca2+-ATPase Activity by Enzyme-labeled Instrument (CAT#: STEM-MB-1455-LGZ)

Introduction

Sensitivity: 1.18 U/kg wet weight
Detection range: 1.18-286.43 U/kg wet weight
Precision: inter-lot difference of 8%, intra-lot difference of 6%
Detection equipment: Enzyme-labeled Instrument
Detection wavelength: 660 nm

Principle

Atpase can decompose ATP to produce ADP and inorganic phosphorus. The activity level of ATPase can be determined by measuring the amount of inorganic phosphorus. By inhibiting Ca2+ -ATPase activity in the control system, the determination system did not inhibit Ca2+ -ATPase activity. The difference of inorganic phosphorus content between the determination and the control system was the inorganic phosphorus produced by Ca2+ -ATPase in the incubation time. Determination of Ca2+ -ATPase activity by inorganic phosphorus production.

Applications

It is suitable for the determination of Ca2+ -ATPase activity in various animal tissue samples.

Procedure

1. Prepare standard samples and experimental samples.
2. Add reaction reagents in order for reaction.
3. Measure the absorbance of each tube.
4. Make the mark curve and calculate the result.

Materials

• Sample Type: various animal tissue samples
