Introduction

CD20 refers to a molecular marker that is carried on the surface of B lymphocytes. This molecular marker is only found on the cell membrane of B lymphocytes. No other cells contain this cellular marker, so CD20 positive refers to B lymphocytes that carry a particular molecular marker.
