Official Full Name: Fc gamma receptor IIc (gene/pseudogene)<br />Also known as: CD32; FCG2; CD32C; CDW32; IGFR2; FCRIIC; FcgammaRIIc<br />This gene encodes one of three members of the low-affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc receptor family found on the surface of many immune-responsive cells. The encoded protein is a transmembrane glycoprotein that may be involved in the phagocytosis and clearance of immune complexes. Allelic polymorphisms in this gene result in coding and noncoding variants.
