Analysis of FGF (basic) (Human) by MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer (CAT#: STEM-MB-0172-LGZ)

Introduction

Fibroblast growth factor (FGF) has several isomers, and the main one that plays a role in arteriosclerosis is basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF). bFGF can be secreted by endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, and macrophages. Its function is to promote the migration of endothelial cells and the proliferation of smooth muscle cells, but cannot make smooth muscle cells migrate. It can promote the formation of new blood vessels and repair damaged endothelial cells. FGF is considered a lesion-promoting factor, but it also has a positive side from a repair perspective.

Principle

Detection Technique: MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence
Capture Antibody: Mouse Monoclonal
Detection Antibody: Mouse Monoclonal
