Analysis of Growth Hormone (Human) by MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer (CAT#: STEM-MB-0233-LGZ)

Introduction

Growth hormone (GH) belongs to the growth factor family and is synthesized by the anterior pituitary gland. GH is a multifunctional cytokine, and many cells have GH receptors, through which GH acts. GH stimulates the liver and other tissues to produce IGF-1, which regulates growth and metabolism. In addition, GH can also directly act on immune cells to regulate immune activity. Human GH cDNA encodes a precursor of 217 amino acids, with a leader peptide of 26 amino acids.

Principle

MSD electrochemiluminescence technology is mainly based on ultra-sensitive multi-factor electrochemiluminescence analyzer MES0 Sector600 or Quickplex SQ120. Through dot matrix technology, the detection of 10 indicators per well can be realized in the 96-hole graphite electrode plate. It can also be customized to realize the screening detection of 100 index wells in a 24-well plate.

Applications

Metabolic

Procedure

1. Coat the capture antibody on the well plate.
2. Add samples/calibrators.
3. Add detection antibody.
4. Read the plate and analyze the data.

Materials

• Sample Type: Plasma, Serum
