Introduction

Official Full Name: H2B clustered histone 26<br />Also known as: H2Bb; H2BU1; HIST3H2BB<br />Histones are fundamental nuclear proteins responsible for the structure of eukaryotic chromosome fibers in the nucleosome. Nucleosomes consist of approximately 146 bp of DNA wrapped around a histone octamer composed of pairs of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). By linking DNA interactions between histone H1 and nucleosomes, chromatin fibers are further compacted to form higher-order chromatin structures. This gene is intronless and encodes a replication-dependent histone that is a member of the H2B histone family. The transcript of this gene contains a palindromic termination element.




Principle

Quantitative reverse transcription PCR (RT-qPCR) is an experimental method applied to PCR experiments using RNA as the starting material. In this method, total or messenger RNA (mRNA) is first transcribed into complementary DNA (cDNA) by reverse transcriptase. Subsequently, qPCR reaction was performed using cDNA as template.

1. Sample processing and preparation of PCR reaction system.
2. Add the amplification template, cover the PCR reaction cover, mix well, centrifuge at low speed instantaneously, and transfer to the PCR instrument.
