Analysis of Maltase Activity by Enzyme-labeled Instrument (CAT#: STEM-MB-1418-LGZ)

Introduction

Sensitivity: 6.32 U/mL
Detection range: 6.32-750 U/mL
Precision: inter-lot difference of 5.7%, intra-lot difference of 2.7%
Detection equipment: Enzyme-labeled Instrument
Detection wavelength: 500-520 nm

Principle

Maltase acts on the substrate to produce monosaccharides, and the monosaccharides produce oxidizing substances under the action of its oxidase. The oxidizing substances combine with the chromogenic agent to produce red products. OD values of red products are measured to calculate the activity of maltase.

Applications

It was used to detect maltase activity in animal tissues.

Procedure

1. Prepare standard samples and experimental samples.
2. Add reaction reagents in order for reaction.
3. Measure the absorbance of each tube.
4. Make the mark curve and calculate the result.

Materials

• Sample Type: animal tissues
