Analysis of PIK3R3 Gene (Mutation) in Familial Cancer of Breast by RT-qPCR (CAT#: STEM-MT-0105-LGZ)

Introduction

Also known as: p55; p55PIK; p55-GAMMA<br />Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) phosphorylates phosphatidylinositol and similar compounds, which then serve as second messengers in growth signaling pathways. PI3K consists of a catalytic subunit and a regulatory subunit. The protein encoded by this gene is a regulatory subunit of PI3K. The encoded protein contains two SH2 domains, through which it binds the activated protein tyrosine kinase to regulate its activity.

Principle

Quantitative reverse transcription PCR (RT-qPCR) is an experimental method applied to PCR experiments using RNA as the starting material. In this method, total or messenger RNA (mRNA) is first transcribed into complementary DNA (cDNA) by reverse transcriptase. Subsequently, qPCR reaction was performed using cDNA as template.

Applications

Familial cancer of breast

Procedure

1. Sample processing and preparation of PCR reaction system.
2. Add the amplification template, cover the PCR reaction cover, mix well, centrifuge at low speed instantaneously, and transfer to the PCR instrument.
3. Set the program for PCR amplification.
4. Data analysis.
