Postsynaptic density (PSD) is a special structure located in the postsynaptic membrane of the central nervous system, which is a key substance in postsynaptic signal transduction and integration. PSD-95 has no protease activity. It mainly combines with related receptors and signal molecules through different structural domains to form signal complexes, which have various biological functions, such as participating in the formation of synaptic connections, maintaining synaptic plasticity and participating in pain regulation.
