The manufacturer of Andor Technology iXon Life 897 EMCCD Microscope Camera is Andor. Model is iXon Life 897 EMCCD. Antor's new iXon Life EMCCD (Electron Multiplying CCD) platform is specifically designed for fluorescence microscopy applications, offering single-photon sensitivity at absolutely unmatched price/performance. The confocal spinning disk technique is employed. While providing excellent confocality and low phototoxicity, spinning disk experiments are inherently photon-starved due to photon repulsion implied by optical sectioning. The highly sensitive iXon Life detector brings these low-light images to life.
