Anoikis Analysis (CAT#: STEM-CBT-0016-WXH)

Introduction

Anoikis (Suspension-induced apoptosis) is a special form of programmed cell death induced by cells losing contact with the extracellular matrix (ECM) and other cells. Anoikis is indispensable for maintaining the stability of body tissues. Its main function is to prevent abnormal cell growth or cell adhesion to abnormal ECM. It plays an important role in body development, tissue homeostasis, disease occurrence, and tumor metastasis.

Applications

• Study the mechanism and treatment of anoikis related diseases.
• Molecular and functional analyzes of anoikis resistant cells.

Procedure

1. Cell culture
2. Anoikis detection (optional kits, qRT-PCR, electron microscopy, Western blot, IHC/ICC and flow cytometry)
3. Result analysis

Notes

Customer provided:
1. Cell type and name
2. Cell processing method and experimental condition parameter setting
