The Beckman J2-MI centrifuge is a refrigerated floor-type system designed for general laboratory use. The unit employs an innovative microprocessor control system for optimum precision and user convenience. In addition, the system is equipped with a brushless induction motor for low maintenance costs, and an advanced digital display capable of showing actual rotor speed and temperature, operating time remaining or elapsed, program number, acceleration/deceleration rate.

Designed to protect both the sample and the rotor, the J2-MI centrifuge provides automatic rotor deceleration in case of abnormality detection. An alert message will be displayed to indicate the condition. This allows the user to diagnose the problem and restart the run.
