Description

Beckman L7-75 Ultracentrifuge, 208-240 volt In Ramsey, MN, USA, model L7-75, is manufactured by Beckman - Coulter laboratory centrifuges.
The Beckman L7-75 is a high-performance ultracentrifuge designed for laboratories with no-compromise centrifugal needs and budget-minded users. The L7 drive system is today’s advanced version of the Beckman drive that revolutionized ultracentrifugation.
The Beckman L7-75 centrifuge is equipped with a frequency-controlled direct drive that provides long-term reliability by eliminating brushes. Along with this, the Beckman centrifuge also has gears and fluid-drive pumps, as well as major maintenance and wear-points on other drives. Designed to eliminate high-speed vacuum seal, the L7-75 ultracentrifuge carries a vacuum-encased induction drive which reduces heat output to 6150 Btu/hr and noise output to less than 60dB.
The simplified drive design of the Beckman L7-75 ultracentrifuge and the efficient use of energy result in the fastest acceleration/deceleration times in its class, as the system requires only 7.35 minutes to accelerate the 60Ti rotor and 6 minutes to decelerate.
