The Beckman Optima™ L-70 Ultracentrifuge is designed for speeds up to 70,000 rpm and centrifugal forces up to 504,000 grams. Beckman centrifuges feature a microprocessor-based system that increases program storage efficiency and ESP™ high-efficiency precipitation programs that help avoid heavy salt precipitation. In addition, the unit is compatible with a wide range of high-power rotors.

The Optima™ L-70 is equipped with a delayed start that can be programmed with a convenient finish time, making running monitoring hassle-free. Recall and storage of custom programs can be done at the touch of a button, resulting in faster runtimes. Additionally, the L-70's acceleration/deceleration profile allows for instant customization of operating conditions.

Additional features of the Beckman Optima™ L-70 centrifuge include an unbalanced drive, dual displays of 'setup' and 'actual' operating parameters, and a simple user program with automatic preheating, precooling, drying cycles and vacuum.
