The Beckman Optima™ XL-90 Ultracentrifuge is a high-performance solution designed for centrifugal forces up to 802,400 g and can perform up to 100,000 rpm. Beckman centrifuges are designed with microprocessor control and can store up to 9 user programs. The ESP™ High Efficiency Settlement System is available with a variety of rotor options to facilitate gradient formation and sample separation.

In the Optima™ XL-90, user-customized programs can be stored and restored at the touch of a button. Programmable delayed start for convenient finish time. User settings employ automatic preheat, precool, vacuum and dry cycles. Additionally, acceleration/deceleration profiles allow immediate customization of operating conditions. Diagnostic displays can also help users monitor operating conditions.

Additional features of the Beckman Optima™ XL-90 centrifuge include dual displays of "set" and "actual" operating parameters, a circuit breaker, a touch key control panel, and a built-in printer on top of the display housing.
