Highlights

The main components of RIPA lysis solution (middle) are 50 mM TrisHCl (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl, 1% NP40, 0.5% sodium deoxycholate, 0.1% SDS and Sodium Orthovanadate, Sodium Fluoride, EDTA, etc.
This product needs to be used together with conventional protease inhibitors to achieve better extraction results; this product contains phosphatase inhibitors, which can be used to extract phosphorylated proteins.
The protein sample obtained by lysis with RIPA lysis solution (middle) can be used to measure the protein concentration with the BCA protein concentration assay kit. Due to the high concentration of detergent, the Bradford method cannot be used to determine the protein concentration of the samples lysed by this lysate.
