Description

Blue Chromstar® FF/HP is an affinity chromatography medium created by covalently linking Cibacron Blue to a highly cross-linked agarose matrix using a triazine coupling method. The blue dye Cibacron Blue can bind to various proteins, such as albumin, lipoprotein, interferon, and coagulation factors, as well as to various enzymes, including kinases, dehydrogenases, and most enzymes that require adenosine-containing cofactors (such as NAD+). Blue Chromstar® HP, with a finer particle size than Blue Chromstar® FF, provides higher resolution. This medium is primarily used for the separation and purification of albumin, interferon, various nucleotide-dependent enzymes, α2-macroglobulin, coagulation factors, and related proteins.
