Anti-static Device

Static electricity can cause electric shocks, malfuction of sensitive electronics, dust clinging to surfaces and difficulties handling small samples. Eliminating or preventing static charging will also reduce the amount of dust particles attracted to the charged surfaces. Any physical device that minimizes static electricity, such as, a wrist strap, floor mat, and workbench are all examples of antistatic devices used when working on sensitive equipment. Avoiding static charge and discharge is particularly important for applications such as: TEM grid preparation nanoparticle, micro-parts assembly.
