Gel Drying Equipment

Gel drying equipment is used to dry the agarose or polyacrylamide gel medium used in gel electrophoresis to separate macromolecules DNA, RNA and proteins. Vacuum drying of gels is a common preparation technique in gel electrophoresis applications for life science laboratories. The gel is heated on a dryer, while vacuum is applied to remove the moisture from below to dry the gel homogeneously.
