Histology Equipment

The modern histology lab is built around the concept of efficiency. Histology is the study of tissues, especially their microscopic anatomy. Tissue dissection, slicing, preparation, probing, staining, and analysis require tools that reliably produce high-quality samples. Any histological procedure involves embedding tissue followed by a slicing or chopping step for slide preparation. In histological research, microtome, cryostat, freezing table and tissue chopper are necessary, as well as blades to cut embedded tissue to the required thickness. Like all science, it has a series of specialized equipment to carry out the different studies on which it is based.
