Nervous System Animal Model

Neurological disorders are diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system. In other words, the brain, spinal cord, cranial nerves, peripheral nerves, nerve roots, autonomic nervous system, neuromuscular junction, and muscles. To construct animal models of neurological diseases, researchers use artificial methods to make animals under the action of certain pathogenic factors (physical, chemical, biological), resulting in a certain degree of damage to the animal's nervous tissues, organs, or whole body. Animal models can show certain functional, metabolic, morphological, and structural changes similar to human neurological disorders or a variety of diseases. Scientists can study the occurrence and development of human diseases, in order to provide the theoretical basis of human neurological disorders prevention and treatment.
