Real-time cell analysis (RTCA) is a chip-base techniques which uses electrical cell-substrate impedance and microsensor electrodes to perform electronic detection of biological processes. RTCA system allows label-free, real-time, and continuous monitoring of cell adhesion, morphology states, energy metabolism, cell viability and rate of cell proliferation.
