A laboratory refrigerated / heating circulator is a versatile piece of equipment that allows precise temperature control of a liquid (typically water), used as a heat transfer medium. The circulator maintains a constant temperature within the bath, which can be adjusted as needed, and circulates the water to ensure a homogenous temperature throughout the bath. Refrigeration bath circulators are suitable for controlling the temperature of externally connected applications and thermoregulation of objects directly in the thermostat bath. Typical applications include: viscometers, photometers, refractometers, double-jacketed reaction vessels and autoclaves. There are various types of used refrigerated / heating circulators used to maintain a specified temperature for an extended period of time.
