Spectroscopy Method

Spectroscopy is the study of the absorption and emission of light and other radiation by matter, as related to the dependence of these processes on the wavelength of the radiation. Spectroscopy techniques are methods that use radiated energy to analyze properties or characteristics of materials. Spectroscopic techniques have been applied in virtually all technical fields of science and technology. Spectroscopic methods can be divided into three main groups: electronic spectroscopy, vibrational spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.
