Description

Corning® Ultra-Low Attachment Cell Culture Flasks is manufactured by Corning. This product has a ultra-Low attachment surface. This ultra-low attachment surface has been proven to successfully inhibit the attachment of anchorage-dependent MDCK, VERO and C6 cells, and the growth time is equal to the time required to obtain the growth of fused cells on the control surface (standard tissue culture treated polystyrene). This surface has also been shown to prevent the attachment and activation of macrophages and neutrophils.
The vent cap contains a 0.2μm non-wettable membrane sealed on the bottle cap to provide consistent aseptic gas exchange while minimizing the risk of contamination.It has a slope from the bottom to the torticollis to facilitate pouring and pipetting operations. Its surface is non-cytotoxic, biologically inert and non-degradable.
