DeRoyal Vel-Foam Ankle Contracture Boots manufactured by DeRoyal are used for positioning. The Ankle Contracture Boot is ideal for hip rotation and foot drop. The soft, comfortable static ankle and foot orthosis can completely suspend the heel to reduce pressure and comes with an anti-rotation bar, padded toe piece, and mesh laundry bag. The Ankle Contracture Boot is available with or without a boot sole and extra liner. The foam softgoods completely cover the splint, preventing skin from exposure to metal. The patients can easily apply and remove the boot with the strapless closure.
The Ankle Contracture Splint is universal for right or left use and is available in five sizes. The hip abduction bar, boot sole and replacement softgoods can be purchased separately.
