DSC 204 F1 Phoenix®: Differential Scanning Calorimeter, NETZSCH-Gerätebau GmbH (CAT#: STEM-LE-0578-LC)

Highlights

With its disk-shaped silver carrier plate and supersensitive thermosensors of nickel-chromium constantan, the Tau-sensor offers a high level of calorimetric sensitivity along with extremely short signal time constants of only 0.6 seconds, which guarantees good separation of overlapping thermal effects.
The µ-sensor stands out for its high level of calorimetric sensitivity, never before achieved with a DSC. For example, it is extremely well suited for pharmaceutical applications with small sample weights.

Cat Number: STEM-LE-0578-LC

Description

The versatile Premium DSC 204 F1Phoenix® integrates all basic operating components into the instrument, and optional accessories can be installed anytime, anywhere. The DSC measuring unit consists of a cylindrical high-conductivity silver block with embedded heating coils (for achieving a wide range of thermal symmetry in the sample chamber), cooling ports for liquid nitrogen or compressed air cooling, and cooling ring for connection to internal cooler (can also be cooled with liquid nitrogen). The gas-tight structure and the integrated mass flow controller for purge and shield gas allow coupling to FTIR or MS for gas analysis.
