Pore-forming properties of polytetrafluoroethylene plastic resin prepared by biaxial stretching microporous membrane. The surface of the membrane can reach more than 1 billion micropores per square centimeter. The diameter of each micropore (0.1 μm-0.5m) is hundreds of times smaller than the diameter of water molecules (20μm-100pm), and tens of thousands of times larger than the diameter of water vapor molecules (0.0003m-0.0004m), so that water vapor can pass through, but water droplets cannot pass through. Using this microporous structure can achieve excellent waterproof and moisture-permeable functions; because the pores are extremely small and longitudinally irregularly curved, wind cannot pass through. Therefore, it has wind resistance and warmth retention property.
