Fluorescence Bandpass Filters are ideal for fluorescence imaging applications. The transmission band of a bandpass filter is surrounded by two cutoff bands. It allows only part of the wavelengths in the spectrum to pass. It is often used to transmit a part of the spectrum while cutting off all other wavelengths.
Bandpass filters are suitable for a variety of applications such as spectroscopy, clinical chemistry or imaging. United Optical Technology has launched two standard fluorescent bandpass filters with diameters of 12.5mm and 25mm, packaged and unpackaged, and wavelengths of 340nm-850nm.
