This is in stark contrast to movies, where the dynamic range is non-linear, 1.5 orders of magnitude or less.

3. The camera is usually cooled to -25°C (max -35°C) by a two-stage thermoelectric module for longer exposure time. This provides the user with less background, which is especially important for precise quantification of very weak signals in chemiluminescent western blots.
