Description

The manufacturer of Krumdieck MD6000 Live Tissue Microtome is Krumdieck. Model is MD6000. The instrument provides samples of uniform and reproducible thickness, minimizing damage to the sectioning surface, thereby eliminating a major source of error in tissue sectioning work. Sections approximately 100 to 500 microns thick can be prepared at a maximum rate of one slice every 3 to 4 seconds. The microtome is immersed in the most appropriate buffer selected by the operator based on composition, tonicity, pH, temperature, oxidative and lubricating properties, and the viability of the sliced tissue is maintained. Microtome and receptacles with glass traps are sterilizable to prepare sterile sections suitable for prolonged organ culture. The actual slicing is done with a rapidly reciprocating disposable blade that spins at 1000 to 2500 rpm and is driven by an electric motor that also powers the impeller. The tissue microtome includes a cooling block that allows maintaining the temperature of the buffer solution in the microtome reservoir.

Specification

Condition: used
From about 100 to 500 micron thick slices, a sheet can be prepared every 3 to 4 seconds at a maximum rate.

Features

1. Sterile, ultrathin biopsies can be rapidly prepared for biochemical, pharmacological, toxicological, neurological and other in vitro studies.
2. Suitable for liver/kidney organ puncture sampling to minimize tissue damage.
3. Minimize damage to the surface of the cutting blade and provide uniform sample thickness with good reproducibility, eliminating the main source of error in tissue sectioning work.
4. The limiter consists of three main parts: slicing device, reservoir assembly and electrical housing.
5. The slice storage sterile slice adopts a glass trap, which is suitable for long-term organ culture preparation.
6. When operating under sterile conditions, the instrument is controlled by a foot switch. This allows the operator to keep gloved hands sterile.
7. The vibrating microtome is used to cut fresh or fixed animal and plant specimens, and tissue specimens do not need to be frozen or buried. Therefore, samples can be protected from ice crystal damage and maintain sample viability and good cell morphology.
8. It provides good conditions for "immunocytochemical research" and "neurobiological research on spinal cord brain slices", and is an ideal fast sample preparation for modern electron microscopy, dissection, embryogenesis, physiology, hospital, chemistry and other experimental systems Ideal slicing instrument. The Krumdik tissue slicer is the most advanced liver/kidney biopsy slicer in the world.
