Laser Light Flash Thermal Conductivity Instruments - DLF 1600, TA Instruments (CAT#: STEM-LE-1423-LC)

The source module of Discovery Laser Flash DLF 1600 is a stand-alone unit, using a custom-made level 1 35 J Nd: glass laser pulse source. It provides collimated monochromatic energy pulses for samples heated to 1600°C. Laser radiation is transmitted through a proprietary fiber optic transmission rod, which ensures 99% uniform laser pulses. This results in a more accurate measurement than any directly emitting laser pulse instrument. The laser source produces a pulse width of 300 µs to 400 µs.
