The Leica c3000 cryostat is a very versatile cryosectioning system. Designed to meet a wide range of individual customer slicing requirements, the CM 3000 is a true modular cryogenic refrigerator model.

The Leica CM 3000 system features a motorized flywheel, as well as a motorized specimen advancement and retraction capability. Dual temperature control for cabinets and specimens, adjustable cutting windows are also some of the features of the CM3000's versatility.

The CM3000's modular design and programmable trimming make operation smooth and easy. Highly complex standard electronic engineering was also prioritized in the construction of this Leica cryostat.

With a 2045'C stainless steel rotary microtome, the Leica CM3000 offers a section thickness of 0.5-60 microns and specimen temperature control to -55'C. Research-grade, open-top cooling allows for sample cooling via two separate refrigeration systems in the CM3000 system. In addition, the system offers three segment modes.
