Liquid Blocker Super PAP Pen, model FPP06B is manufactured by Beyotime. This product is used to draw a circle around the tissue during staining experiments such as immunohistochemistry or immunofluorescence to form a thermally stable hydrophobic isolation zone surrounding the tissue sample, so that reagents such as antibodies and probes are limited to the delimited hydrophobic zone. It can effectively reduce the usage of various reagents and improve the staining and incubation effects. This product can be used for paraffin sectioning, frozen sectioning, and cell culture to perform various staining and reactions on glass slides, coverslips, multi-well plates or cell culture dishes.

The thermally stable hydrophobic area can keep the solution accumulated in the corresponding area drawn, so that the sample surface can cover a higher liquid level to increase the incubation effect. In addition, mutual contamination between different reagents can be avoided, so that multiple samples, multiple antibodies, and probes can be stained and compared in the same glass slide or petri dish.
Easy to use, convenient to draw circles, and the aqueous solution is not easy to lose in the hydrophobic circle. It has very significant effects on immunohistochemical staining and immunofluorescence staining.
It can also be used for staining and reaction of various aqueous solutions such as in situ hybridization on glass slides, TUNEL method and other cell apoptosis detection, HE staining, crystal violet staining, and so on.
The drawn hydrophobic circle can be removed by xylene or xylene-like organic solvents.
The pen fluid content is 8 ml, and 800 circles can be drawn by using 10 microliters of pen fluid per circle.
