In recent years, there has been great interest in various methods for directly converting heat into electricity. If waste heat generated by heat engines and combustion systems can be captured by thermoelectric equipment and converted into electrical energy, billions of dollars can be saved.
For this challenging application, Linseis has developed a characteristic evaluation instrument for these materials and devices. LSR-3 "Linseis - Seebeck & Electric Resistivity Unit".

LSR-3 can measure Seebeck coefficient and resistance at the same time (resistivity measurement).
Can analyze prisms and cylindrical samples between 6 and 23 mm in length
Unique measurement adapters are available for wires and foils analysis
Three different replaceable furnaces with temperatures range from -100 to 1500°C
