Air infusion/transfer module
The supersaturation of water is made possible by the equilibrium that exists between the dissolved concentration of a air in a liquid, and the partial pressure of that air above the liquid. The proportionality constant that relates the partial pressure to the concentration in the dissolved phase is called Henry’s Constant. The mass transfer modules contain hydrophobic microporous hollow fibers(the right diagrams) that provide a very large interface area of fiber for the mass transfer of air into the liquid. This air infusion module can infuse as much stabilized air into water with type of dissolved air and fine micro bubbles.
