Most microscopes can be equipped with a motorized focus option. The standard motorized focus control provides steps as small as 0.002µm and has excellent resolution, enabling precise focusing and repeatable positioning on the Z axis. For large movements that require speed, the ProScan™ Motorized Focus Drives can be driven at speeds up to 20 rpm.
