The NuAire AireGard Energy Efficient NU-201 Desktop Horizontal Airflow Workstation is designed for work areas that require clean air. Equipped with an energy efficient motor/fan, the AireGard ES NU-201 provides a hepa filtered clean air environment for life science research, pharmaceuticals, animal/plant procedures and electronic testing. Models are NU-201-430 with 4 feet. Cabinets and NU-201-630 with 6 ft. cabinet.
The NU-201 workstation is designed to run smoothly with a basic control system. This includes simple switches to control blowers, lights and outlets, as well as Minihelic® pressure gauges to measure plenum performance. The AireGard NU-201 system is also ergonomic with a radius front work surface, a removable front grille for easy cleaning, and a 1/2" radius lip on the back of the work surface.
Another advantage of the NU workstation is TruLaminar airflow, a Nuaire technology that provides unidirectional airflow at a constant velocity of 60 fpm (0.30 m/s) along parallel streamlines. This minimizes air turbulence within the work area, reducing the chance of cross-contamination.
The HEPEX™ Zero Leakage Airflow System is part of the NuAire AireGard ES NU-201 Workstation. The HEPEX™ plenum is inflated to provide quiet, uniform air that does not transmit vibration. Positive pressure chambers and pipes are surrounded by negative pressure to eliminate potential leaks and ensure a clean working environment. Other features include germicidal UV light, base support frame, fluorescent light, vein rod with six hooks, and stainless steel work area and side walls.
