PA Polyamide Testing

Polyamide (PA), commonly called nylon, is a semi crystalline thermoplastic with low density and high thermal stability. Based on the molecular structure, commonly used PA can be classified into four types – PA 6, PA 66, PA 12 and PA 46. PA features significant advantages such as excellent resistance against chemical and wear, good coefficient of friction and very good heat resistance, low weight, and high impact strength, which makes it ideally suited as construction plastics, metal substitutes, automotive parts, industrial valves, and insulation for railway sleepers.

STEMart validates the quality and performance of PA materials to assist manufacturers in optimizing their manufacturing processes, in the search for substitute materials and in solving failure problems on PA materials.
