The Packard Tricarb is a reliable liquid scintillation analyzer for laboratories. This computer-controlled benchtop device detects small amounts of alpha, beta, and gamma radioactivity. Even with quenched samples, the analyzer produces reliable results.

Various functions are installed in three carb liquid scintillation counters for maximum productivity. The built-in static controller minimizes the effects of static electricity. Automatic data reduction features include averaging of replicate sample counts, percent coefficient of variation (CV), low count rejection, and result normalization.

User-defined equations can also be programmed into the Packard system. Depending on user preference, the output can be formatted as a standard spreadsheet type calculation. Other features of the Packard tricarb are luminescence detection, half-life correction and background subtraction.

Packard three carb liquid scintillation counter system includes monitor, keyboard and printer. Upon arrival at the bench equipment, there will be a certified engineer for installation instruction and basic operator training.
